Belle Nicholas

Belle Nicholas, Miss New Jersey 2025, is a third-year graduate student in clinical psychology at Widener University and the founder of Shout Our Struggle, a mental health initiative that has impacted thousands across New Jersey through school programs, policy advocacy, and outreach. A survivor of anxiety and depression, she now uses her voice to change the narrative about mental health. In 2021, Belle received her Bachelor’s degree in Musical Theater from James Madison University and is a classically trained lyric soprano. After graduating, she decided to pivot her career to clinical psychology. Belle began competing in the Miss America Opportunity four years ago to support her career transition. She has earned upwards of $40,000 to support her educational endeavors, and she is on track to complete her doctorate in 2028.
